Supporting a Worthy Cause

In addition to their concert announcement, Bell X1 has been involved in charitable efforts. As part of Daffodil Day 2025, a fundraising initiative by the Irish Cancer Society, they have recently released a new video for their poignant song ‘Spacewalk’.

Bell X1 in Action

The video, directed by Anna Eijsbouts, was inspired by Glenn Keating, a band member who has bravely battled cancer for the past five years. Frontman Paul Noonan shared, “Glenn is a thoughtful, funny, musically intuitive and gifted dude – who happens to have had the terrible luck of getting cancer.” Since his diagnosis in 2020, Glenn has remained a beacon of positivity while undergoing multiple treatments.

The Irish Cancer Society is on a mission to raise €30 million (£25.72 million) this year to meet the growing demand for their services, and Bell X1’s support has been invaluable. “We are incredibly grateful to Bell X1 for their amazing support this year to mark Daffodil Day,” said Averil Power, CEO of the organization.

Glenn Keating is set to take on a cycling challenge from Dublin to Galway this May to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society and Bowel Cancer Awareness Month. Fans can support him and contribute to the cause by donating here.
