Bruce Willis’s daughter Scout recently reminisced about her last encounter with the late Aaron Carter during an interview for the upcoming documentary about the pop star and his brother. This documentary, titled The Carters: Hurts To Love You, is set to premiere on Paramount+ on April 15. It chronicles both Aaron and his brother Nick Carter, from the famous band The Backstreet Boys, as they navigated their journey to fame.

In a heartfelt recollection, Scout shared that she was around 10 years old when she became “absolutely batshit obsessed” with Aaron Carter. Her dream came true on her 12th birthday while she was on vacation with her family at Disney World, where she met him in person.

“From inside of me erupts the most insane fangirl piercing 12-year-old scream you can possibly imagine,” Scout joyfully recalled. Bruce Willis even invited Aaron to her birthday party, making it an unforgettable experience.

Scout described Aaron as “the sweetest, most beautiful, gracious boy I have ever met.” Even though he was young, he was away from his family and ended up spending the weekend with Scout's family.

Scout reflected on how unique it was for Aaron to socialize with kids his age without the pressures of work. “It was something that I only realized years later how rare of a moment it was for him to get to just play and be silly and have fun with us,” she expressed.

Fast forward to 2013, a college-aged Scout reached out to Aaron’s team when she learned he was touring near her school, hoping to reconnect. Their meeting brought back a flood of emotions, and she was thrilled to be called on stage during his concert.

A Sweet Serenade

During the performance, Aaron invited Scout to join him on stage, pulling her onto his lap and serenading her. “I could have died in that exact moment,” she exclaimed, recalling the tender kiss shared in front of an audience. Following that night, Aaron expressed his feelings and asked her to be his girlfriend, to which she declined.

“Obviously it was not what he wanted to hear and maybe bruised his ego a bit,” Scout candidly shared. After that moment, they didn’t really stay in touch.

Looking back, Scout pondered, “I think he was probably so lonely, and so much longing for real love.”

The Aftermath of Aaron’s Passing

Aaron Carter’s untimely death in 2022 left a profound impact on many, including his brother Nick. In a 2023 interview, Nick described struggling to come to terms with the loss. "It’s still unbelievable,” he shared, expressing his ongoing journey to process the situation.

Nick also paid tribute to Aaron online, stating, “My heart is broken. Even though my brother and I have had a complicated relationship, my love for him has never ever faded.” He further expressed his hope that Aaron would eventually find the help he needed, adding, “I will miss my brother more than anyone will ever know.
